member status inaccurate in reports.

So I am finding something very odd when running membership reports.

I am running an All families by mailing category report. There were errors.

At first we thought members' statuses have not been updated, but when I went to update the members individual statuses, it's showing the correct membership status in their profile.

For example John and Sue Smith are showing as active members on the mailing list
But in their individual profiles they are both listed as inactive members.

Rodger Jones is showing up as an active member on the mailing list but in his personal profile he is deceased.

Any idea what is going on?

Someone is only updating one of the profiles. When a change has to be done, such as active to deceased, both the Mailing List profile and the Personal Profile need to be updated. Its not automatic as there are many reasons why one could be one status for a mailing list profile, and another for the personal profile.
