Birthday report and Anniversary Report

Post by wlthomp44 »

What is the proper way to do a printout of Birthdays and anniversaries? I have always done these as separate reports by month. A new church secretary is trying to produce a combined report, but when she does this by printing out a complete report of the year, she is not getting all the names in the list.

If you try to run a combined list for a particular month, let's say March, you're essentially asking PowerChurch for a list of all people who have a birthday in March AND their anniversary is in March also. Someone with a birthday in June and an anniversary in March would not show up.

You're right, you need two reports - one for each set of criteria.

You can also run the Selected Dates Report. (It is the last report in the Personal Profiles list of reports) This report includes dates with an OR. So if you select birthdays from 3/1 to 3/31 and anniv from 3/1 to 3/31, you will get people who have birthdays or anniversary during the date range. This report works differently than other reports in PCPLUS. In other reports if you used this same selection you would only get people who were born and married in the month of March.
