The new Outlook sync feature works great to get the personal data into outlook. I can see it and everything in Outlook but when I try and create distribution lists, the imported names are not on the list. Has anyone else found this problem.

Are you sure they all have email addresses ?? I just tested this in and the only names that appeared have email addresses those who do not, are not shown.kcritchley wrote:The new Outlook sync feature works great to get the personal data into outlook. I'm using Outlook 2003, and PC+ v10 with the last MR (not the new April one).

Thanks for the reply,
That was a good idea. I checked the contacts and some have email and some do not but Outlook is not recognizing any of the imported addresses as valid email. I am assuming because of the extra blank spaces at the end. If I delete one of the blank spaces, then Outlook recognizes it.
But I still need a better solution. I don't want to have to do that to each email.
We have just upgraded to Office 2007.

What MR date of version 10 are you using? The 1/31/07 date corrected a problem where people were getting a save changes message after viewing an imported entry. The fix was we trimed all the spaces from fields before adding them to outlook. Geting the latest MR for version 10 might solve the problem.
