I don't believe so, the attendance module was setup so that a church could track individual attendance at worship and other events in order to followup on visitors, members who may have fallen off for some reason, etc.

FWIW ... if you want to track just the number attending, I'd just use a spreadsheet.

It is not useful for reports, but to keep a record of the number of attenders I record the number for each service in the notes line of the Sermon Filer. Then if someone wants to know how many people were at Easter service last year I can look it up. I hope this helps.
