We moved profiles of two people (husband and wife) to a duplicate profile for them. One had them listed an non-members and the other as members. When I checked to pull up their contributions, their statement didn't come up. I looked for them under posted contributions and the record is there.
How can I get the contributions to show up when I try to pull them up individually?
Do I need to re-enter them? I don't want to end up with duplication on the giving record.
Help?!?

What report are you using to try to pull up their contribution statement? What settings are you using in the report? Do you have duplicates of the profiles in the personal profile section or just the family profiles section?

Meg is spot on !!
The mailing list profile showing them as members should list under it the two correct personal profiles of the members. These profiles should show the same envelope number for the couple.
The incorrect mailing list profile (and any other personal profiles) should be deleted.

Does the above/below conversation imply that you should put the same envelope number on each individuals personal profile? They a contribution statment can be pulled up under either name?

If you would like to track the giving of the husband & wife as a couple you should give them the same envelope number, only use a seperate number for each if you need to know how much each gave as an individual. You can give the same env number to more than one person as long as they are in the same household.
From the original post:

Also, I'm not sure why the duplication was needed, just change the status to members in the original profile. I would avoid duplicating profiles, you'll end up with all kinds of confusion over which one is correct and which is not.
