Emailing parents of children and youth

Hey! I have a question about emailing the parents of children and youth. I am having trouble figuring out how to email the parents. I can send a letter to the parents of ... but I cannot figure out how to email the parents of. I have powerchurch 10. Is this possible? Thank you in advance for answering this question.

Because the email address is attached to the Personal Profile, and is not at the Mailing List record level, the only way you can do this in email currently, is to create an activity of Parent, then use the 'email a group' function.

However, that brings up a good idea for the wish list. Create a main email address at the Mailing LIst level for church information emails only. This address would be designated by the family. I would not use this for contribution statements, as there could be multiple contributors in a household. Then have a function off the Family Mailing List menu to utilize this email address.

Thank you. I was sort of hoping there was an option I had not seen that was email to the parents of.... :D
