Household Labels with Envelope Numbers

In practice, we assign envelope sets to households rather than to individuals. I want to print labels that include envelope number and both spouses' names. (The labels then go on the boxed set of offering envelopes). How can I get the Household Mailing Name (which contains both spouses) and the envelope number on the same label? I see this is done for contribution reports (actually they use the names of the first and second adult in the personal profiles list of a given household) according to some of the other posts on this site, but the database columns needed don't seem to be in the custom printing module.
Currently we maintain a separate mailing list to do this. UGH! Is there a better way?

If both of the spouses have the same envelope number, then you will get both names on the label and you can also print the env. number on the label too. The directions I wrote up are as follows. Your choices, of course, may be different based on your church:
Click on Contributions—Print Mailing Labels—Selected Contributors/ select $$ amts from 0 to $999,999.00/ Dates are the calendar year/ Envelope numbers 1-7000.
Sort by Envelope number.
Click on the Type of Labels dropdown arrow and choose 20-Label Per Sheets.
Click on 1 or 2 Labels per person as the case may be (we use General fund envelopes and Building fund envelopes).
Click on Print Envelope Numbers.

Thanks for the information. I saw things worked that way on the contribution reports, didn't realize it extended to labels as well.
A note on one discovery: if there is a third personal profile using the same envelope the addressee is profile1 '& Family'
Keeping a second database in this case is a double UHG!
