Entering Attendance

Post by hmcnamara »

Is is possible to enter attendance manually thru Fast Data Entry, save it and go back to enter more attendees under the same date? There only is a "done" button and then you are closed out of that specific date.

Once you have entered attendance data for an activity/date, you can edit that data by opening Fast Data Entry and entering that same activity code and date. The program will tell you that data has already been entered, and ask if you want to edit it. If you click on "yes," Fast Data Entry will open, showing your previously entered data.
If you want to add just one more attender, it may be easier to open Membership / Attendance / Maintain Attendance Data. Locate the person you want to add, click the add button, enter the appropriate skill number and date, and select "present" for the status.

Thanks for your response. But I would like to continuing adding attendees not edit the ones I have already entered for the same date. It only gives me the option to edit not add additional.

So you are not seeing the "Add Person" button at bottom left of the "Fast Data Entry" window? I am using PC+9, and I have that button when I edit previously entered data. What version are you using?

You can enter additional attendees when you head back in. As mentioned, if you need to add new attenders to the activity, you should see the button to allow you to do so.
