Worship Attendance

Post by Pam »

Is there a way to track total number of worship attendees without tracking by individual? We do not keep an individualized attendance for our worship service the way we do Sunday School. Just a head count.

It would be great if we could track total worship attendance and also have the information feed to a report for graphs and reporting purposes.

Also, speaking of graphs, when I tried to print a contribution graph today, no matter whether I selected landscape or portrait, it would only print in portrait format.

Thanks!

There is no way to maintain such data in Powerchurch. Some churches who do not track individual data use an Excel spreadsheet that can then be used to create graphs.

Can't help you with the printing issue unfortunately, however, which type of graph were you trying to print, as well as what version of Powerchurch are you using??

This may help with figuring out what the problem may be.

I have PowerChurch Plus 10.4. I was trying to print the graph for Contributions. I was trying to print the bar graph in landscape.

Thanks!

total attendance

I also agree it would be great to have a place to put total worship attendance. Is that something that could be considered in the future?

That is something that has been suggested previously. The more suggestions we get, the more popular the feature would appear to be, and more likely it would end up in a future release.

As always, you can send suggestions to wishlist@powerchurch.com.

another vote for a place to include total attendance

Several of the other Church management Software (ChMS) packages we've investigated included a way to enter attendance totals to any event, even if not tracking individual attendance at the event, including Sunday services.

We found that a wonderful feature to integrate with the ChMS and have the ability to report later. I don't know where or how that data is exported (other than to reports) since all the exported data is by Member (or organization).
