Operating Windows Vista
Sending an email with a .pdf attachment to a group of recipients. Received this fatal error message at 5% completion:
PROGRAM: MAILASSIST.OBULKMAIL_ADD_FILES
LINE: 5
ERROR: 1429
MESSAGE: OLEIDispatch exception code 0 from CSM.Section1: Internal Error (T4): (Using Build 20037)..
Occurred again after reboot.
Amendment: Process succeeded, very slowly. Many recipients have reported back that the .pdf file was corrupted and could not be opened. If I resend individually, it works fine.
Don't know what to do about it.

I got a similar message several times yesterday also sending to a group with a pdf attachment. I got further along, about 40% when it appeared, though. Here are my specs:
O/S: Win XP Pro
PCP Version 10.4
Difference for me was that it did NOT complete and, on the contrary, completely froze PC. I was unable to do anything. I had to end the process in TM in order to even close the app. I checked our email and there was a bad email address. I thought that once I removed that email address it might work, but it only did up to 45% that time. I wound up sending the emails individually... can anyone help?
Thanks.

Is the error message the same as listed above ?? If so this thread may assist you in a fix:
http://powerchurch.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3644
There are a few suggestions there to troubleshoot, and one that specifically mentions that V9 and V10 were on the same machine, and a fix if that is your situation.
Having the precise error message would definitely help as it would give some additional information on where the error was occuring.

Oddly enough, after removing 2 nonexistent email addresses, I was able to send the emails without any problem. I am not sure if that would or does cause a problem (having bad email addresses in the system), but I am unable to reproduce the error as of now. If I get it again, I will be sure to copy it and post it in this forum for further review. Thanks for your assistance!
Failure Sending Messages Error

I get a similar error when trying to send a mass email to 187 members.
The Error:
PROGRAM: BULKMAIL.SEND
LINE: 148
ERROR: 1429
MESSAGE: OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from CSMail.Header.1: The array index is out of bounds..
When I click OK, it shuts the program down immediately.
This just started happening after we loaded the latest Maintenance release(10.4) for PCPlus10 on 3/18/2009. We are running it on a network using Small Business Server 2003 Standard.
Client Machine OS (where I'm getting the error) = Vista w/SP1
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

This error was one of two reasons there was an additional Maintenance Release dated 3/20, after just releasing one on 3/17. Update to the latest and it should fix the issue.
