As members of our Leadership Succession Committee, I & Ernie have the task of data-base development.
I've been observing previous messages on PC forum to become familiar with it's capabilities.
Our goal is to become better acquainted with our member's so we can have a data-base that will connect their activities & skills to their profile.
Ideally, we'll coordinate survey/info collection methods that will coordinate with data entry for easy tracking to help connect members to areas they're interested in participating in.
Viewtopic.php?t=1803 is the kind of info we find quite helpful, as we become better acquainted with Activity/Skill's Type, Dept, Roles, etc., & how they fit terminoloy familiar to our setting.
We've just recently hired a new Administrator/Ruth in addition to having Kathy Keller/bookkeeper who's quite proficient in PC's Financial area.
Our membership of ~750 is considered a large church for Unitarian/Universalist congregations.[/b]
