I am using Power Church on a network. The main computer uses Windows XP and my computer uses Vista. I cannot get the weekly column format to show up. It only shows one column and no dates. I did try resetting my policy registration, but I still cannot get the column format to show up. Do you have any other suggestion I might try. I am using microsoft office 2003 small business edition, on my computer and so are the others computers on the network.

Two things:
1. Does it appear properly on other computers?
2. Are you trying to export the report to Word ??

What date range are you using? This is located on the second step on the assistant. I did find this morning that if the from date is after the end date you get one column with no date listed.

I use a 30 day date range. I usually print out my lists before the next month.

It does appear properly on the other computers. I am not sure if it runs on excel or word for the weekly column format. I don't export it Power Church exports it and I don't know which of the above it uses.

If you're printing the report directly from Powerchurch, and it prints correctly on the other computers, I suspect its more a problem with your printer setup or computer then Powerchurch.
What type of printer are you printing on ??

I'm pretty sure it's not the printer, because the page does not show up with the date ranges on it when I go to pre-view it.

Many programs use the Printer settings when doing 'print previews' and so on. If you are printing directly from Powerchurch, then the report does not use Word or Excel when doing this.
Again, I ask the question, what printer are you using? Is this printer attached to this machine? If you can view the report properly on other machines, what happens when you print from them ??

In PowerChurch Plus, the Crystal Reports system does "print" the report to the screen using your current default printer's driver. If there is a problem with the printer, you will have problems with the screen preview.

Ok that makes sense. The printer I am using is an HP officejet 6500 wireless, however I have it wired to my computer. I am on a network and will try to print the report on another printer and see what happens it you have any other suggestions they sure would be appreciated. Thanks Akkidspastor.

I tried the network printer without success, but I believe the printer could be the problem any suggestions on how to get power church and my Hp officejet 6500 wirless (however the printer is wired to my computer.) to communicate properly?

The
wireless part of your printer, being wired to your machine (I'm assuming a USB cable), has no impact on this whatsoever. Its the printer driver, the part of the software that is loaded to YOUR computer that is probably causing the problem.
In this thread, you mentioned that the report appears properly when you view it on other computers. What happens when you try printing from those other computers to the network printer,or any printer attached to the computer the report displays correctly on ?? Does the report print properly ??
FWIW ... according to the HP website, that printer has new drivers as of March 2009. I'd check the dates of the driver installed, and see if you need to update the driver.

It does not communicate with the network printers, but when I use the software that is loaded into the other computers it works, displays, and prints properly. I will have to try to attach another printer to see if it will work correctly. I will also do a search for an updated driver and I will keep you posted. Thank you for all your help.

OK ... since it prints fine on the other machines, it has to be the print drivers on the computer that you were using.
