Deleting all skills for a profile

Post by Joetta Trimble »

Is there a quick way to delete all the activities/skills for an individual profile? Several folks have moved or passed away who were very busy people and there has to be an easier way than deleting each activity under the Maintain Activities and Skills screen.

Thanks for any help!

The easiest way would be to use the Maintain Activities & Skills screen (Membership > Activities & Skills > Maintain Activities & Skills). This looks at each person and lists their activities. Find the person you are looking for, click on the first activity in the list, then press the "D" key on the keyboard (for Delete), then press "Y" to confirm Yes. You can move through a lot of them quickly this way.

The Maintain List of Attenders screen does the opposite, looking at an activity and listing all the people that are members of it.

Yes, that's what I've been doing, but it does take a while and my co-workers keep asking what's going on, because it "dings" every time you press "D" for delete and asks "are you sure?" :?
This might be a good item for the wish list.

Thanks for the reply.
