There is a hierarchy to the system. You can't have a Personal Profile without a Family Mailing List Profile first. If you have the
Use add family assistant checked on the
Integrated Data Entry to add new families, it will guide you by asking questions and then create the profiles for you.
However, since you already have a Family Mailing List profile, the best way to add the Personal Profile is to open
Integrated Data Entry and look for the Family Mailing List profile you want to add a Personal Profile to. Select the
Family Members tab, then click on the
Add New Profile button listed there. You'll get the Personal Profile dialog where you can enter the information on a family member.
Now, when you do a Church Directory, are you filtering out non-members, and other such entries. The names missing may be in one of those other Mailing List Categories. However, the other alternative is that if the Mailing List profile is within the categories you're selecting for, that profile may not have a check mark next to the
Include in membership module reports and/or
Publish address in church directory. They both have to be checked, for the directory report to pull that record.
