A couple of other church members have been given access to update the membership module and now I am seeing some problems. I developed a custom report to list all the profiles along with the status code and status description. can anyone tell me which of the following status codes came with PC? We are on release 10.4 and this is our first install.

I am assuming that this is only for the Family Mailing List module:

I'm fairly sure that MA is the original Member code, not sure of K4, but that Friends/Church is a good status to use for people who regularly attend, even contribution, but do not wish to become members.

I'd do two things to stop this from happening again.

1. Have the system administrator remove permissions for <i>Change Custom Codes</i> from each person who should not have them. The only persons who should be able to change these are the people who are responsible for each area.

2. Delete the custom code <i>Members</i>, you will be given an opportunity to automatically update all those records with <i>Members</i> to the code you want at that time.
