What is the best way to track vistor dates

Post by dcc »

I'm a fairly new user and have been asked to keep track of how many times visitors attend, when they were visited, etc. I'm going to add them as a Visitor, but is there any way to run a detailed Visitation Report that does not include the whole Family Mailing List? (The first selection under Visitation Reports.)

Are you not using the Attendance feature and reports ?? The Visitation Module, I believe, was to be used by the pastor, elders, deacons and/or others who visit member families.

Our procedure is as follows:

1. Visitor signs pew 'friendship' pad.
2. Visitor is entered in PC+ under family and individual profile
3. Visitor's individual profile is enrolled under the Sunday Worship activity.
4. Visitor's attendence is then tracked under the attendance module along with rest of congregation and visitors.

On this topic from the previous response, our church follows the same process for visitors.

The issue I see on the Visitor Report is that the 'Dates Present' field shows dates that family (head of the household) attended, not the indivdual. This is confusing because the person on this report matching the personal status checked but has been absent on the dates appearing - so this person should not be on the report.

Did your church run into this issue? If so, how did you resolve it? Or is this design of the report, if so, I really need a power church programmer to explain why.

Thanks,

The visitor report should show the dates each and every person attended. If this is not showing, then I suspect that not every person is being entered into the system.
