Adding a document (PDF) to a persons profile.

I was wondering if there is any way to attach or copy of a PDF to a members notes area. I was sent a PDF of a letter about when someone was baptized. I entered the date but I would like to keep a copy of the PDF with the members profile. Is this possible?

Currently, there is no way to attach correspondence to a members profile. That said, you can put a note in the record referring to the file kept on your computer.

This is a late response, but what I do is convert the pdf to text; copy and paste the text to a Word document, check for errors and then copy and paste into the notes section. When converting a pdf to text, there will be errors such the number 1 might become an L or comma's might become a zero or o.

Doing this conversion and then copy and paste is very helpful when putting obits into the note section for funerals.

BTW: I use the Cute PDF writer and the Foxit Pdf reader. I do not use Adobe for my pdfs.

I am currently doing alot of cut and pasting and I also use Cute PDF(I love that).
I was just looking for the "EASY" way of adding info to a profile.

Maybe someday PC will have a place to add documents, Pdf's and other things like these.
