Where to correctly setup training classes & spiritual gifts

Hello all,
We have a couple of classes that our members have completed and we would like to keep track of who finished what class. Examples include: New Member Class, Financial Peace University, and Experiencing God. We are also having training for our Teachers and Ministers which we would like to keep track of. There will be other discipleship classes that we might make mandatory for new members after the new member's class but before they are assigned to ministry. My thoughts are to use activities and have the roles be student, teacher, assistant teacher, alumni. If this is the case, then I would probably need date completed as we will run classes each year and they would be under the same activity.

Another question is how we should properly track spiritual gifts for each of our members.

Any assistance on how to correctly setup these items is greatly appreciated. We are using PowerChurch Online.

Yes, Activities & Skills sounds like the appropriate place for all of that. You can add someone to a class activity once they have attended, or add them to the activity when you know they need to take the class and record Attendance for that activity for the day they attend the class.

You could set up each spiritual gift as an activity, then adding each person to the appropriate activities for their spiritual gifts. That is kind of what the "Skills" part of Activities & Skills is meant to be.

Basically any small grouping that you need for people in Membership should be able to be done in Activities & Skills.
