I have started using PC+ and it is really what our church needs. Though we are located in Philippines and each church is unique, but PC+ about covers all.

I have some questions. I try to look at manual and the forum but did not found them.
1. Is there a no of persons count (for all and for each status) that you may see without going to Reports?
2. For Widows- do we put them as 1 in Dir sequence?
How about for ladies who attends but husband not attending?

Thank you in advance.

1. No, you have to run the report, but it is comprehensive. It will list the numbers in all the status codes, and those without a code.

2. Its a good idea to do so, as they are now head of household. For the ladies who attend, but the husband doesn't, you can do this either way. What we usually do is keep the directory number at 1, the husband is listed as 2 with a status of 'Family Group Member', and on the Mailing List Profile, only have the wife as the addressee.

Thanks for your reply.

We are in a church or country that does not use the mail as communication much. Is it right to say that te family mailing list is primary for mailing purpose? But I would like everything right.
How do I remove the Mr and Mrs from title or the & family from those couple without children.

In follow up to my question, if I want to enter family members who never attends but I like to put them in just so we will know how many members are in family , I may just input status as not attending- for record only.

I would like to repeat how much "fun" I am having in using PC+ and regretting that I should start using it last March when I purchased it.
1. Not necessarily. Yes, it can be used for mailing, but its also the profile that ties the family together. You would link all the family profiles under this one mailing list profile.

2. What you want to do with other family members is correct, you would put them under the mailing list profile record with the attender at #1, spouse as #2, children and other members of the family following. If I remember right, there is a personal status code of "family group member" that is loaded initially in the system along with others such as 'Member", "Visitor", etc. That is what we use for family members who do not attend and children until they become members.
