Picture Quality in V11.x

Post by KPegram »

Is there a way to improve the quality of the picture in the actual PowerChurch program? It does print out okay but on the screen the picture is "fuzzy". I'm using version 11. Thanks,

There is a setting under Preferences -> System Setup where you can set the system to use Higher Quality pictures. Its on the Picture tab, by default it is checked. However if this was unchecked, this does mean that if you've already scanned or imported pictures from a disk that you've received from Olan Mills or Lifetouch, you'll have to delete those and import them again.

PowerChurch Plus will, by default, import pictures at an 800x600 resolution. If you wish to import smaller pictures, save hard drive space and keep backup sizes to a minimum, uncheck the option that reads Import/Scan higher quality pictures. Doing so will reduce imported image sizes to a resolution of 255x210.

That's the best resolution you're going to get for pics in the current version of the program. As far as the display, that may be a screen resolution adjustment.
