Cannot Scan Pictures into Powerchurch

Post by songbird331 »

I can scan from my copier. I want to scan a picture to import into my church directory. When I click on 'scan picture' the 'box' is empty. Where do I go to fix this? Thank you.

The scan picture button requires a TWAIN compatible scanner attached to your computer. You will have to see if the copier has a TWAIN driver available. TWAIN is an older way of programs working with scanners.

Does you copier have a way to copy the images into a folder on your network? It might be easier to have it copy them there and then just drag and drop them onto the appropriate families or people.

I admit, I had to look it up to remind myself, the term has been around for at least 10 years. Technology Without An Interesting Name.

It is one of my favorite acronyms because it sounds so technical but means nothing.
