Hello PC family,
Anyone else having issues lately with PowerChurch shutting down frequently? I was printing checks 15 minutes ago, went to check a few emails and PC logs me out. This has been an increased issue lately and PC seems ultra sensitive these days. Any suggestions?

This thread may help. Updates to Windows 10 and Win 11 have tended to mess with the network settings.christybeth wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 12:50 pmHello PC family,

Re: PowerChurch logging off frequently
All of my other programs are fine and it is only PowerChurch that is kicking me off. I was kicked out of PowerChurch when I was checking all of the things in that post you referenced. All seemed to be set appropriately. I may just call customer service tomorrow to see if they can check for solutions. Thanks for trying to help Neil!

Worth a shot. Please come back and let us know how it was corrected.christybeth wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 7:10 pmAll of my other programs are fine and it is only PowerChurch that is kicking me off. Re: PowerChurch logging off frequently
Update - I did what was suggested here but continued to have issues with getting logged out. Yesterday was payroll so I was actively working in PowerChurch and was kicked out 3 times in 10 minutes. Talk about frustrating!
I found a stopping point and rebooted my computer to see if that helped "reset" some things. After rebooting my computer, it was still an ongoing issue. I work from home and our IT guy at church is always helpful but was unavailable. My husband came and took a look to see if he could help troubleshoot since I needed to be able to get payroll processed. My computer was connected to wi-fi and he also connected my computer to ethernet.
Today seems to be a better day so we'll see if that was the solution. If not, I'll be reaching out for some tech support at PowerChurch since it is only PowerChurch that is affected.
Thanks!

That said, having direct connection via ethernet eliminates the usual issue of WiFi time outs. I suspect you'll not see any downtime.
