Event Report Runtime Error

Here's a new glitch - When I try to save an Event Report as a Windows Doc (or as any other format, as I just tried them all), I get the following dialog box popping up:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!

Program:C:\Program Files (x86)\IDS LLC\IDS\Client\IdsRdCli.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the applications support team for more information.
I have no clue how to fix this one. Any help is much appreciated.

Try to uninstall and reinstall the IDS Client and see if that resolves it. If not, try installing the .NET runtimes from here:

Installing the .NET runtimes seems to have fixed the issue, thank you!

Well, I'm sure due to the recent Windows 10 update (which broke any number of other things), this same problem is happening again. I did uninstall and reinstall the IDS client, and also tried to reinstall the .NET runtime packages but got a message that the runtime packages I have are more up to date than the ones at that link. Which makes me suspect that the problem lies in the runtimes - and I don't know how to revert them to an earlier version. Please advise.

Hmmm .... the .NET runtimes should be backwards compatible, or else they would break many other programs in current usage. Since you're a Powerchurch Online user, you have free phone support. I'd call them directly (800) 486-1800
