Is there any way to have the IDS client remember the User Name and Password, so to not have to type it in every time?

Yes there is for the IDS Client login information. Here's a knowledge base article that explains how to do it:

Please note, it will not remember your PCPlus Username and Password as that must be entered once the client has connected to the online servers, and the client cannot pass that on.
