Does this happen each time you try to download the file ?? From the look of the error, it appears that you're getting the error from the terminal program used to access Powerchurch Online.
Can you try to access from a different computer ??

If you got a dialog stating where you wanted to save the file, then got this error: This may happen when anti-virus programs do not allow unknown programs to launch additional programs. An exception may need to be added for the specific file. "c:\program files\ids llc\ids server\programs\idsrdsvr.exe"
If the error occurred prior to getting the save file dialog, reinstall the client, it sounds like a file may not be correct.

Uninstalled and re-installed IDS Client.
Added IDS Client to anti-virus exception list.
Rebooted computer.
Ran report on PowerChurch Online and asked for download to Excel.
"Transferring file to local workstation"
Excel does not open, PC/IDS does not ask for file name. Cannot find any file on my computer.
No error message now.

The latest IDS client does not include the document and mailto redirection files. You can get them from
here. Extract then copy them into the IDS Client directory (typically C:\Program Files\IDS LLC\IDS Client).
We are working with the company that supplies us with that installer to correct this issue.
If this does not correct the issue, please call Technical Support when you are available at that computer to get the problem resolved.

I have the same problem and more. It will not redirect to my printer either nor am I able to download any file types to my local station. It looks like it is working but nothing happens, no error messages. Not able to find in Temp files either. I have tried the suggestions in this thread and nothing works. Please help, the tax receipts are coming up.

The printer was set correctly. The problem was that the printing take place through Adobe and it was not being opened by the program. I reinstalled the IDS I had saved and Adobe now opens and I can print but still not save files. I will move this over to the subject Saving a report to a file. I still does not open the window where to save to.
Thanks for the help and hoping the save issue is solved soon.
