Sorry if this is covered elsewhere - Hate to be a bother.
We are currently re-learning the ropes of Powerchurch. The current way we are doing it is not helpful but harmful.
Here's our questions:
Is it possible to have two different Mailing Statuses?
For instance Member + Prayer Partner? Or Member + Worship Team? Or Friend of Congregation + Prayer Partner? (Prayer Partner being a custom tag.) Is there a way we can check both? Or do we have to get very simple and create a custom label for each combination?
How do you reorder family members? For instance, in the family date tables, "Family Members" tag it lists the head of the household the children and then the spouse. How do we move the spouse to second in line?
Further more, when a child gets to be too old how do we remove them from their parent's household and into one of their own? Do we do it manually or is there a button or item to click that splits them automatically?
Thank you for your help - it is greatly appreciated!

1. In a word, no. The Mailing List Status is mainly to differentiate between members, visitors, etc.JoelRissinger wrote:Sorry if this is covered elsewhere - Hate to be a bother.

What it looks like you want to do should be done with the Activities and Skills module. Each area I see outside of member or friend, is an activity that you can assign a person to. You can then use the Print Mailing Labels function under the Activity and Skills function to print labels for any selected activity.
2. Basically you need to do a substitution shuffle with the Directory Sequence number. You take the persona with number 2 and change that number to 10, change the spouse's number to 2, then renumber he others as necessary doing the same thing.
EG ...Head =1, child1=2 child2=3 spouse=4, Change spouse to 10, child2 to 4, child1 to 3, then spouse to 2
3. When the child is an adult, you have to create a new Mailing List Record specifically for that adult, then move their Personal Profile record to that new Mailing List Record.
FWIW ... this is standard Powerchurch functionalty and really should have been asked under the Membership Section of the Forums. Each functional area of Powerchurch is covered in its own area, as are specific issues to Powerchuch Online, and Powerchurch Check-In
Hope this helps

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish, but your examples Prayer Partner, Worship Team sound like they would activities. Is it possible to have two different Mailing Statuses?

You can create activities and place people in to an activity, you can then run reports, record attendance, print mailing labels, etc. The Personal Status is designed to keep track of a person's membership status, activities skills is where you would track what groups or activities a person is involved in.
