Potential new issue - web links in PowerChurch Today > Commu

Post by garygaryj »

The web links in PowerChurch Today > Community don't seem to work like they have previously.

I have an iMac on Snow Leopard OS, and the thin client ICS used to allow copying of the link to a forum post found in PowerChurch Today's Community Tab. Now there is a fatal error that brings the application back to the ICS launch icon.

Just me? Or a potential issue?

Can you tell us what the error message says?

Upon clicking the PC+ Online > PowerChurch Today > Community forum article Title link, I get the standard pop-up: "Would you like this link available in the clipboard?" - I click on "Yes" button.
This is followed by a 2nd pop-up small window, with the error:

PROGRAM: FORMATED2CLIP.CONVERTCRLFTOBR
LINE: 59
ERROR: 11
MESSAGE: Function argument value, type, or count is invalid.

Clicking on the OK button at the bottom of the error message is what causes the screen to exit back to the PowerChurch Plus 11.5 icon in ICS.

The forum will not allow me to upload an attachment of a png graphic screen shot from Jing. I get the error of : Could not upload attachment to ./files/1115846_fd106ae7441eedbc0067923c04e6c577.

Apparently, we are able to recreate this issue through the Mac IDS Client.

We will get it written up and fixed in a future MR.

OK - thanks.
In the past, it has allowed the copy of the link, to paste into the Safari browser externally, but I think on occasion (if I am remembering correctly) I have seen it open up a client browser with the forum page article, which of course, is preferable.
