I'm pretty sure I already know the answer to this question, but I'm asking so that I can provide an informed answer to those asking at my organization:

Is the Check In Module secure so that people using it to check in their children can not access member, contribution, etc. information on our Power Church database?

Basically ... yes. You don't want that sort of personal data available to everyone.
