Hello- We are in the middle of our VBS. We have accidently made two activity categories for our VBS volunteers and need to move them all to a single activity. Short of deleting and re-adding, is there any way to move all the volunteers at the same time?

Whenever we have a Sunday School class end and they all go into a new (but the same) Sunday School class, we use the Promote function. It's still a bit of work, but you double click on each person in the activity and change their promotion year to whatever you want (probably best to use an old year, like 2013). Set the old activity to promote into the new activity. And then use the Class Promotion function to move all members into the new activity.

You can combine two activities by going to Membership -> Activities & Skills -> Mass Update Activities & Skills

Here you can select the Move option to move everyone from one activity to another. It will prompt you for the activity to move everyone out of and the activity to move people to.

I knew there had to be an easier way.
