Checkin Service will not start

All,

I have installed Check In 11 on a computer running Windows Server 2012. When I try to run the pcserver11 (application) I get "Error# 1053 - The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."

When I try to launch the Check In Kiosk, I get an "Unable to connect to the Check In Server. Please make sure the server address is correct and that it is currently running" error. Can anyone help please?

I have no firewall running. I am trying to run all of this on one machine.

Richard,

you'll get that response from the Kiosk if the Check-In server is not running, so the issue is that the service is not starting. You need to look at your server application & system logs to see what exactly is happening.
