Replacement of Check-In Computer

Post by rone_lcc »

I had to replace the "check-in" computer over the weekend as the old one died. During the install of the "PC Check In client, I downloaded and installed the latest MR for Check-In as well as the PC Server (on the main computer). We now get an error when trying to start PowerChurch on the main computer. We can run it on the Finance computer (remote to the data on the main computer) with no issues. We are on version 11 with the 3/2018 MR applied. Here is what is written in the log file >

This is caused by a user permissions issue. Running as administrator should get past the error now, but the long-term fix is to make sure Everyone on this local computer has read/write permissions on the PowerChurch program directory.
