Default Adult values when adding new family from Kiosk

Post by MTZDetroit »

We have applied the latest MR to both CheckIn Kiosk and Server. When adding a new family the default value of Adult 'Y' is being passed to the children as well. The numerical sequence for the children starts at the number 3, which is great, but we have to go back to the newly added record from within Power Church and change the adult status.

Any way this can be addressed?

Are you putting in a birth date? Is that date more than 18 years ago? This should make it a 'Y' otherwise it should be 'N'.

When no birth date is added, it should be left blank.

That was the intent anyway.

You are correct. If the birth date is added and is less than 18 years old the Adult value is 'N'.

But if there is no birth date added the default value for Adult is 'Y'. I should have clarified more.

When adding a family, the children without a birth date should be blank.
I'm seeing that when updating a family, the children without a birth date may be switched to 'Y' from blank.

Is that what you are experiencing?
