Marital Status
Just an observation. We have Check-In and presently when you set up a new profile, PC Checkin does not default marital status for kids or adults. Basically, because there is no marital status in PC Checkin, Powerchurch does not list whether kids or parents are single or married. Thus you have to manually update the profile of each person that is registered.

Re: Marital Status
This are the defaults when you add a new profile directly to a family in PowerChurch.

Exactly, there are no defaults for these items at all, they are blank.

Re: Marital Status
I'm not sure I understand, are you both saying it's supposed to be that way? If we set up a "Mom & Dad" and they are listed in Check-in as "Mom & Dad" should Powerchurch default to married. As well, the kids should be listed as single, right?

Re: Marital Status
There is a lot of information that you can record in PowerChurch Plus that you can not enter in the Check In system. Marital Status is one of those things. It also doesn't ask for more than one phone number, birthdays for adults, anniversary date, and lots of other things you or others might find important. That's just part of trying to make it a quick and easy process to add people at the Check In station.
If you would like to make a case for including marital status in the add family process in the Check In system, send it in an e-mail to wishlist@powerchurch.com.
