contribution funds posted to assets instead of income

Post by Pastor Drew »

I was helping our new treasurer with income and expense reports and discovered that some of the designated contributions were inadvertently set up to go to balance sheet/asset accounts rather than the associated income accounts.

I'm working on getting them adjusted so that the income/expense report is accurate rather than showing a deficit because income was not accounted for.

Which report will let me list contributions posted to the balance sheet accounts for this calendar year?

An Account Activity report in Fund Accounting for the Balance Sheet account in question will show you each individual transaction that debited or credited that account.
