Reversing in GE and reposting in AP

Newbie here
I posted an expense in the GE account that should have been posted in AP. I reversed in GE and reposted in AP. Account activity shows it is reversed, however in the income and expense month it shows that amount twice. I am showing an overage of exactly that amount. How can I correct this?

To know how to fix it, you will need to know what caused the problem. Take a look at an Account Activity report for that expense account to see what shows up.
