We are a 2-point parish and use 8.5 for one church and v.9 for the other church, so I can do this in either version. I use the payroll system in v. 8.5 but do not use any of the other accounting system as I use Quicken. I use the payroll system to print dummy checks on plain paper (with real check numbers) to use as paystubs and I love the tax features on the system.

What I would like to do is use the accounting system to produce invoices for the other church. Church 2 pays a portion (30%) of some of Church 1's expenses (pastor salary, secretary salary, phone bill, etc.). Is there a way to enter the full amount paid and have it convert to 30% of that bill?

For instance:
If Pastor was paid $6,000, we want church 2 to get a bill for 30% of that amount. They want to see the total amount paid compared with the 30% billed to them. Currently I use excel, but want to use PowerChurch for more things, IF it is easier. Again, I can set this up in either version.
