It has been almost 1 year ago that I launched out and undertook the church treasurer responsibilities at NsFCC. I knew when I took on this responsibility that the first year would be somewhat painful because of my lack in having a perfect knowledge of accounting principles, but at this point in the journey I am very pleased at where I am in this process. One of the biggest hurdles, apart from the one stated above, was learning new software; how to navigate, how it responds to any given transaction, etc. I truly appreciate this community and want to thank those of you reading this that have helped me along the way. Your support has proven to be quite valuable and very much appreciated. Although I consider myself in some ways to be a 'bottom feeder' when it comes to accounting, I very much want to be able to swim with the BIG FISH!
