When I add a contribution to a restricted account, it does not increase the amount of the restriction. Is there way to set up PowerChurch to do that automatically? We have it set up to automatically increase the amount in the account, but it doesn't automatically set it up to increase the amount of the restriction of that account.

If I remember right, if the restricted account was setup properly, the system should automatically update the restricted account.

PC+ has a wizard to help you setup restricted accounts, if you used this wizard (which appears when you click the Add button under the Maintain List of Donor Restrictions the proper accounts would be created for you.

Not knowing how you setup the restriction, it is hard to give any advice. If you can, list the equity, income and release account numbers you're using.
