Custom Check Layout

Post by michaeleyre »

Hello,

I just upgraded my computer and re-installed PCPlus10. I have restored all of my data files from the main computer, but I want to check to make sure I have my custom check layout.

Is there a way to check using the software? Also, if I do not have it, where can I find it? I have a complete backup of my previous computer, so I would just need to know what file(s) to restore.

Thanks

Mike

All of your custom labels, checks, W2 forms, etc. are located in the "Layouts" folder.

To check to see if your custom check came through, go to File > Preferences > Custom Check Layout. Click the Custom button. Click Edit Layout. In the Report Designer, go to File > Print Preview.

Here is an article from the Knowledge Base that will walk you through it:

Another approach might be to make a backup of your files. Then, create and print a dummy cheque (check). Then restore the previous backup, taking you back to the moment before your dummy cheque (check).
