End of Month Problem

When trying to move to the next month to enter data, I have followed the procedures as listed on page 203-204. Nothing happens. I have no unposted data. HELP The system does not update to the next month. Even after exiting Powerchurch and restarting, there is still no update! The month simply does not advance!

First, Thanks to Zaphod for the input.
Second, I have discovered a way to get around my previously documented problem with the End of Month situation (not changing to the new month). If I go to the Modify Unposted Transaction screen under the FundAccounting area, change the accounting Month window in the upper right corner to the next month; then the system will let me perform the End of Month functions with the expected normal result.

Does anyone know why the date on the Modify Unposted Transactions screen seems to be needed for this function to work?

When you say "nothing happens" does that mean no errors? If that's the case, exit PowerChurch and reenter. Check your current accounting month listed at the bottom of the Accounting menu. You should find that you've advanced your month.
