Sending Monthly Accounts Receivable Statements Via E-mail

Post by pudgyswede »

Our Treasurer has asked questions which I have been unable to answer for him. Therefore, I am hoping that one of our more experienced users will be able to help me answer the following questions: Does version 10 have the ability to generate and send monthly accounts receivable statements via email? If yes, what is the process for doing so? If not, has this feature been added to version 11?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide! :?

Neither v10 nor v11 have this capability directly, however, you can generate individual account reports from the Accounts Receivable standard reports, and email them from there.

That would involve doing a separate report for each person you want to send a statement to, then entering their email address manually.

Quick question, how are you using the AR module that you would need to send monthly account statements ??

Thanks for your extremely timely response.

Since posting my question, our Treasurer contacted me and indicated that he misspoke in his original information request. He does not want to send accounts receivable statements via e-mail. All he wants to do is send contribution statements to members. I already knew that this was possible and have been able to let him know that it is possible and how to get it done.

Thanks again for taking the time to respond.
