W-2's & 1099's

Post by bgobble »

Just started w/ PC+, don't even have accounting set up yet. Also just got information needed to close the year. :wall: Is there any way to feed information manually into the W-2's/ 1099's? I have the forms (non-carbon) and really don't want to have to go search for the carbon ones if I can figure out how to make this work. Anyone know of a website or software that allows you to just fill in the info and print it. Can't wait to get it all on PC+! Thanks!

Manual W-2's

I've noticed that most of the folks that make the laser forms for W-2's and 1099's have some software that you can buy when you buy the forms. This software just allows you to manually enter the data for these forms. Just look for the info on the package that it includes some software, it's usually stated clearly on the package.

It's probably a little to late to tell you this, but you can do the W2/W3s online and submit them to the government electronically. You even have until March 31 when doing it this way (the W3 part that is).
