Report - Check Register Will Not Work
I was getting ready to reconcile my bank statement for December, but when I went to print out the Check Register report in Fund Accounting, it would not bring it up for me. A box comes up that says, "NO RECORDS SELECTED." I've never had this happen before. I have selected everything that needs to be selected and it will not give me the report.
What do I do now?

Did you check the date range the system gave you? Yes I checked that. I do want year to date, but it won't bring it up.

I went ahead and chose the year 2010 option........never had to do that before.........I went ahead and reconciled earlier without the report and it now just shows the one check that is outstanding......so i guess it works.......why wouldn't it bring up a report with the year to date option?? Is that because it's January 2011?? Must be I suppose.

The check register report is the only report in Fund Accounting that works by transaction date. The rest of the reports work by accounting month using the working month as the default for the report options. The check register report doesn't use working month and defaults to year to date. So right now it will default to 1/1/11 to 1/13/11.
