Is it possible to transfer the budget from an excel spreadsheet or an access table into the Power Church Software instead of entering each account individually. Version 11.1

Unfortunately, there is no programmatic way within Powerchurch to do this. Trying to do it outside of Powerchurch could cause database integrity problems as there may be some programmatic checks and processing that govern the database update.

That said, while it is a pain to do the first time, it does get easier in later years, especially if the budget does not change every year.

The only import available in Funds Accounting are transaction imports, and they really only do debits/credits to the COA.

Gracias. I was hopeful but not overly so. I will probably copy the old budget over to the new year and change the items that need to be changed.
