some journal entries not posting

I am new to PowerChurch Plus. I have entered all my transactions for 2010 but when I post, some tithe and expenditure entries are not posting for December 2010. What do I have to do since they show up in the unposted transactions report.

Do you get an error report as to why they're not posting ?? Do they have the correct year ?? Many times this type of problem can be caused because the date is 2011 instead 2010.

No I do not get any error report; and yes I have the correct date as 2010.

Is the month of December 2010 closed or otherwise not available to post into? Entries will not post into a closed month.

Thank you for your response. No, the month of december is not closed. Some of the december items have posted but not all especially some tithes and offering for month and some expenses are not posting.

When you post, look on the posting screen for something that says error posting and then print the posting report. It should give you some ideas as to the issue. Otherwise you may need to visually look at those entries for anomalies like an unknown account number or trying to post to a group account etc that would be stopping them from posting.
