Emailing Paycheck stubs

Post by Treasurer »

Is it possible to email paycheck stubs for those employees who have their checks automatically deposited? If possible how is it done? We have version 11.1 running on XP.

If not currently possible, I would suggest adding that functionality in the next upgrade.

Thanks for any help.

There is no current way to 'email' paycheck stubs from within the program. V11.5 has added the capability for you to print the payroll stub for those getting paid via EFT, which you can then hand to the person or mail to them. However, you can do a print to a PDF creation 'printer' such as that created by the PDF995 program. This will create a PDF of the stub, which you can then attach to an email. The problem is that this may only work for one person at a time, which means you'd have to process them individually.

I'd just print the stubs, and hand or mail them to the person. That's the way all my employers did it for hundreds of employees.

The PDF995 program is free, and available at PDF995.com.
