Changing beginning balances

Post by stpaulfinance »

Is there a way to change the 1/1/12 beginning bank balances and outstanding checks? Or, do I have to completely re-run the set up? An accounting firm was handling the accounting for 2011 and they did not give me ending balances until yesterday. There are three additional outstanding checks that I did not know about and the bank balances in some of the savings accounts were different as well.

Thanks for any help!

I did a search in Accounting on Beginning Balance and found this thread:

It should give you the answer you need.

Thanks so much. I'll give it a try this weekend when I'm back at the church.
