Payroll--creating A/P entries for deductions

Post by songbird331 »

When I 'processed' my payroll for this month, I 'posted payroll' before I 'created A/P entries for Deductions'. I had already posted the payroll transaction in F/A when I realized this. How do I correct this problem????

Oops...I'm sorry. Payroll taxes are in UNposted transactions in F/A. They have NOT been posted yet.

Not sure what you mean by creating A/P entries for Deductions. Do you mean the A/P entries to pay the withholding taxes, and so on ??

Nothing says you can't do this manually in A/P. The treasurer here does this in the first week of the next month to deposit all the required withholdings.
