Restore Payroll History

Hi - our accountant accidentally deleted ALL our Payroll History. And then went merrily along for two weeks processing assorted transactions as usual. Now she'd like to restore JUST the payroll history. We're running PCPlus 11 . I'm very new to this software, so I haven't read the manual or ever restored anything with this system, so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question but can we just restore the payroll history?

Quick answer, no. More detailed answer, not without assistance.

I'm not sure what types of backups you do, but if you only do full backups, it is not an easy thing to restore only certain files.

if you do separate accounting backups, then you could backup to the last version you had before she deleted, then the accountant would need to reenter all the transactions that were entered after that.

I suggest that you call the support line to see if they can assist you. They will be able to walk you through any steps needed, or tell you that you may have to do what I suggested above.
