Accounts Receivable

Post by svlewis »

I understand that Powerchurch is a Cash Basis system. However I have created invoice with the accounts receivable module. Once payment has been received and posted to the Fund Accounting Module, I loose track of the payment. The only place I can see where the accounts receivable shows up is the Check Register by Fund.

My dilima is that I cannot find a report that shows what has come through the Accounts Receivable module.
Is there any way to create a report or add a line on a report that shows what funds are paid trough the Accounts Receivable?

I would like to be able to see how much comes through AR.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
svlewis

Exactly what are you tracking through AR ??

What Income Account are you crediting the invoices to ?? That should show your income. If you're crediting something like regular tithes, I would create a separate income account to track payments coming in from AR.

I have on account (1160) which is my checking account. With that I have several funds, by adding extension of 100, 200, 300 etc. All of these funds use the same checking account. my ARs are posting to a credit account of 4801, etc. what I really want is for the monies that come in through AR to show up on the Balance Sheet like each of my funds do. I don't really want to create another fund, because the AR monies is part of one of the funds I already have.
Any suggestions.

Income accounts do not show up on the balance sheet. They will show up on an Income/Expense report, I'm surprised you're not seeing it there.

Sorry, it does show on my I&E's. But it would be really great if on the balance sheet there was some way I could show what comes in through AR.
Thanks
